| Description |
Daffodil DB is a J2EE certified, SQL-99 and JDBC 3.0 standards
compliant 100% Java RDBMS. It helps you build comprehensive and
powerful relational database applications in Java to handle
complex business needs. It supports rare features in Java RDBMS
like full-text search and external Java methods. It comes in two
editions- Server and Embedded edition.
Backward compatibility with Daffodil DB v 2.4, 2.5 and 3.0.
Default behavior in foreign key has been changed from 'NO ACTION' to 'RESTRICT'.
Recent Improvements
Improved 'AUTOCOMMIT TRUE' transaction performance.
Performance enhancement: Changes incorporated in locking and Index handling mechanism.
Bugs related to privileges of procedure execution have been fixed.
