Headliner
The Headliner vertical scrolling applet reads a text file at given intervals,
and scrolls into view any new text that has been added to that file. The
oldest text is then scrolled out of view -- all without having to refresh
your browser!
Author's Notes:
When reading the text file, if a new headline is discovered, the applet will
scroll up oldest headline and the newest headline will scroll in from the
bottom. So the applet will normally not be scrolling. It only scrolls when
new text is detected. If no new text is detected, the applet does not scroll.
